A handcrafted pendant with a wooden Ihwaz ᛇ rune paired with a tumbled black tourmaline in macrame. It is tied with a black hempen cord and secured with a black sewing thread.
Eihwaz, or Ihwaz, means "yew" and represents both the natural world, as well as the perpetual and eternal mysteries of life and death. It is a protective rune, and was intuitively paired with a black tourmaline to invoke, promote, and empower protection but also a sense of strength, intuition, and a cleansing of the energies within you and your life!
The crystal is A-quality, and the size and appearance varies between each crystal. See photo for general size (top measurement is in inches, bottom in cm).
The wood is lovingly and ethically sourced, and as such, it may vary what type of wood you get... however, you can always rest easy knowing it was ethically sourced by me, directly from the Swedish wilderness!
Please note that the wood is untreated, so treat it with the same care you would your crystal!

Rune Eihwaz Black Tourmaline Pendant (Tumbled)
General Properties
Black Tourmaline is a protective and grounding stone (much like most black stones).It shields us from negative energy as well as protects us against being energetically drained. It can even work as a deflection with negativity.
It increases our mental wellbeing by reducing stress and helping us feel secure and grounded.

Element - EarthIhwaz means "yew", and it embodies complex energies of protection as well as the natural world. As such, it embodies both life and healing, as well as the natural cycle of death and defense. Like a spear, this rune can be used both defensively and offensively; similarly, it embodies the energy of spiritual wisdom and knowledge of the bigger picture. It can carry the energy of a wise warrior, as well as of Yggdrasil or the esoteric practitioner that stands in all realms.
The rune is from the Elder Futhark. I have consciously chosen to work with the Elder Futhark rather than the Younger one for these pendants.
All runes are paired with a crystal that I felt vibrated well with the energy of the rune - they are not following any form of universal correspondence.
