A handcrafted pendant with a wooden Perthro ᛈ rune paired with a tumbled smoky quartz in macrame. It is tied with a black hempen cord and secured with a black cotton sewing thread.
Perthro, or Peorð, is actually a bit of a mystery rune. Some would say it represents game, luck, or the Norns, whereas others would say it represents earth, peartrees, and grounding. For me, it is this very mysterious and almost shapeshifting quality of this rune which adds to its power. I intuitively paired it with the smoky quartz, as they both have a bit of a "liminal" energy to me, and both can work together to invoke, promote, and empower not just grounding yourself into the moment, but also going with the flow of wherever Fate is taking you, while maintaining a positive and focused energy (as the smoky quartz will help to dispel anxiety).
The crystal is in AA-quality, and the size and appearance varies slightly between each crystal. See photo for general size (top measurement is in inches, bottom in cm).
The wood is lovingly and ethically sourced, and as such, it may vary what type of wood you get... however, you can always rest easy knowing it was ethically sourced by me, directly from the Swedish wilderness!
Please note that the wood is untreated, so treat it with the same care you would your crystal!

Rune Perthro Smoky Quartz Pendant (Tumbled)
General Properties
Smoky Quartz is wonderful for their calming qualities. It is an excellent grounding stone, as well as lifting and dispelling negativity.It reduces anxiety and stress, and replaces it with emotional calmness.
It is said to be able to dispel nightmares and help with manifestation.

Element - EarthPerthro is a bit of a mystery, but to me, that doesn't detract from its energy but rather strenthens it. In my personal work, this rune often represents luck, chance, gambles, surprise events, and Fate. However, because of this, it can also be used for grounding, because it is through the acceptance of seemingly random events dictated by Fate that we can find ourselves firmly rooted in the present moment. It is a bit of a shapeshifting rune to me, flowing through each circumstance, both ever-changing and accepting of the way of the Universe. This is where its power lies, at least in my own practice.
The rune is from the Elder Futhark. I have consciously chosen to work with the Elder Futhark rather than the Younger one for these pendants.
All runes are paired with a crystal that I felt vibrated well with the energy of the rune - they are not following any form of universal correspondence.
