A handcrafted pendant with a wooden Kenaz ᚲ rune paired with a tumbled carnelian in macrame. It is tied with a black hempen cord and secured with a black sewing thread.
The Kenaz, or Kauna, rune means "torch" or "ulcer" respectively. It is a rune of illumination, representing knowledge, rituals (as in, ritual fire), hearth, and warmth. It is intuitively paired with a carnelian to invoke, promote, and empower fire and illumination within you and your life!
The crystal is in A-quality, and the size and appearance varies between each crystal. See photo for general size (top measurement is in inches, bottom in cm).
The wood is lovingly and ethically sourced, and as such, it may vary what type of wood you get... however, you can always rest easy knowing it was ethically sourced by me, directly from the Swedish wilderness!
Please note that the wood is untreated, so treat it with the same care you would your crystal!

Element - FireKenaz, or Kauna, is a rune that either represents 'torch' or 'ulcer'. In the form of the latter, it can be a potent rune for protection and "biting back" at someone else. However, its use here is in its former energy: that of illumination. It brings warmth, knowledge, guidance, and sometimes even a playful or passionate energy.
The rune is from the Elder Futhark. I have consciously chosen to work with the Elder Futhark rather than the Younger one for these pendants.
All runes are paired with a crystal that I felt vibrated well with the energy of the rune - they are not following any form of universal correspondence.
