This made-to-order rune set is crafted by yours truly out of local wood found in northern Sweden. Each piece, ethically collected in co-operation with nature, and then lovingly crafted through wood-burning. The bags themselves are also hand-made, and you will be able to choose between a crocheted bag (as pictured), or a sewn one made of black linen in a similar design.
This set is specifically in the Younger Futhark, which is rare. Most rune sets available on the market are not only often mass-produced, but also tends to be in the Elder Futhark. While the Elder Futhark is a beautiful system to work with, it's actually a common misunderstanding that the traditions that we call "Old Norse" used this runic system for writing and magic. In fact, the Elder Futhark is older and more connected to the wider Germanic tribes, whereas it is the Younger Futhark that was used during the "Viking Age" and in the Scandinavian regions of the time and onwards. As such, this rune set offers a unique connection to the "Old Norse" practices by being in the Younger Futhark.
As these are made-to-order, you are able to customize certain elements of your set to make it more unique to you:

- The Bag - Choose between
- Crochetted with knot-magic in black yarn where I infuse intentions of divination guided by the Norns and the Universe, for the highest good of all. Custom intentions can also be infused within reason (please let me know in a message with your order or an email).
- Sewn with black linen, where I may be able to also add on a symbol or letter (within reason).
- "Basic" design, as pictured.
- Customized design, such as with an added clay bead or charm (within reason).
Please note that I reserve the right to refuse customization requests based on what is expected. I don't think this should need to be stated but I will anyway: I will obviously not agree to customize any design with symbols or references of a hateful, fascist, or otherwise discriminatory nature. I stand by inclusive heathenry.

Handmade Rune Set (Younger Futhark)
As this item is hand-crafted and made-to-order, please allow up to 4 weeks of production time, as it heavily relies on how many orders are queued up, and the availability of ethically sourced materials. Don't forget, everything is handmade, so it takes time because it is made with love, intention, and spiritual energy as well. As such, all orders will also look unique, and the pictures are just a sample of what a finished product might look like.
Please note that once I have begun crafting your set (which I will notify you of), you can no longer customize it further except for in rare cases, so please keep this in mind when you request customized features.
As this is a made-to-order item, please keep in mind that you are not just paying for the physical product, but for the service and time of crafting it. As such, any final sales once the item is completed and received by you, won't be fully refundable as you cannot refund and undo a service that's been provided. However, should you feel unhappy with your product for any reason once received, please contact me and we can work out a resolution within reason.
Runes
- Instead of a dot on each side of the rune, add an X or swirl.
- Add an initial or symbol to the "back" (within reason).
Cord
- Add a clay bead to the cord.
- Add a hand-made clay charm to the cord, such as of a leaf or a symbol.
- Add a pre-made charm to the cord, either from charms I already have or one I can otherwise obtain (within reason).
If you are unsure if I can fulfil a request, or if you place an order with a request I cannot fulfil, you will be offered alternatives or refunded entirely. To ensure you will get something you want, and that I can provide, please consider emailing me beforehand so we can discuss what you'd like. I will be able to provide sketches or sample images as well, within reason, so that you will know what the final result should look like.
